My treadmill…not Pelaton..is in my bedroom out of the way so accidents like this can’t happen…not the treadmills fault whatever the brand…its lack of safety awareness and common sense..
I’ve got one and this has really annoyed me. There’s a safety key where unless it’s in, the tread won’t start. Be a responsible owner and take it out. Don’t let kids/pets in the room, especially when in use! The tragedy with the child is absolutely awful, but people need to take responsibility for their own actions. The tread was left with the power on, safety key in place and the kids were given free reign. I’m sorry that is not Peloton’s fault.
I have a peloton treadmill, a toddler and a dog.
The toddler and dog are locked out of the peloton room, much like they are locked out of areas with knives, bleach, blind cords etc. Homes are hazardous places. People need to be sensible about the safety of their children and pets, not just when they have a peloton. Well said knives x guns should be banned tooo many young people losing their lives soo young it’s a sin. BBC
