Good! So they should! For Make america grate again skull shirt those moaning about it being their choice, it’s also the patients choice to not be dealt with by unvaccinated people. The same workers who worked when there was no vac & expected them to comply. If patients are vaxed & they work what’s the problem? Freedom of choice. So test them before every shift and if the test is negative, they carry on as normal. Nurses are like gold dust at the moment, it’s crazy to place them elsewhere if they’re still healthy and not carrying the virus. What a great idea! There’s not enough staff in the hospitals so why not make things even worse! The same staff worked tirelessly with no thought of their own safety when looking after dying Covid patients UNVACCINATED! It’s their choice. They’re being redeployed probably to an area where they aren’t in contact with vulnerable patients. We have to have our hep b jabs, mmr, tb etc. So it’s understandable they want us to have the covid jabs. We are responsible for caring for very very vulnerable patients, and we obviously have to do our best to keep them safe. You don’t go in to health care as a career and not expect to be fully up to date with vaccinations. Yet no one cared when they were unvaccinated and cared for covid positive patience and not forgetting the vaccine does NOT stop you getting covid or passing to others.. The vaccine is so say for your own self in that if you were to get covid you would be less likely so they say to become seriously ill.. So what difference does it make if staff aren’t vaccinated.. So sad that these wonderful people risked their own lives to care for peoples relatives during the pandemic, worked ridiculous hours and some even spent months away from their own family. It was ok for them to work through all the pandemic tho wasnt it. Working through it putting their loved ones at risk. It should be a choice if you want the vaccine. Care homes and hospitals will badly suffer in the end getting rid of people that don’t want the vaccine. It’s our bodies it’s up to us. BBC.

That’s absolutely disgusting, I hope every single person that clapped for the NHS understand it’s not the service that takes care of you, it’s people. People with the right to refuse just the same as anybody else. Shame on our gov. As a person on the extremely clinically vulnerable list I would be horrified know that the people treating me hadn’t been jabbed. It’s not just about looking after yourself it’s looking after others too. Everyone has the option whether to take the vaccine or not for themselves but when you are looking after sick and vulnerable people it is no longer just about you. There are many medical jobs where you have to be vaccinated against something because of who you look after/your job so why should this be different. If you are happy to go into work and potentially give the virus to patients who have an increased risk of death or long term illness then is that really the job for you. Thank you for looking after us during the height of the pandemic..risking their lives..now if your not vaccinated different scenario..totally wrong. Unvaccinated healthcare workers are more likely to carry and infect patients with COVID19 in the clinics/hospitals with many COVID19 patients admitted, so it is the right decision not to have them to work with patients.
