And I will never get lasik surgery because 20/20 vision 100% of the time literally gives me migraines. Also, I have astigmatism. This literally makes it impossible without plain old glasses. I need my glasses to enhance & assist my eyes, idiots. I’ll poke them in their eyes & insist they work a full shift without rubbing them. Oh & drive home without having an accident. What utter crap. In the bosses are men I want them to wear high heel shoes every day all day for a year. So messed up glasses are cool and necessary for a lot of people. Wearing contacts does not work for everyone. Are these places also offering to pay for LASIK? This is clearly discrimination based on gender. Just stop it. Interesting…I like to see how a haircut or make up looks when I must use my glasses. I can’t think that poor vision would help in any job I have ever done…The practice is ageist as well. The older the woman, the more likely she is to need glasses. Out with the old. I literally wouldn’t be able to even GET to work without my glasses, let alone be any kind of productive at work without them lol. I can’t wear contacts either so I’d be completely screwed because I’m blind as a bat without them. What is the world????!!!? As though people who wear glasses really want to wear them..I’d happily not wear my glasses to work…it would mean I couldn’t do any work! Ridiculous. Glasses are not a fashion accessory. They are devices to HELP PEOPLE SEE! Contacts aren’t an option for a lot of people – they don’t have the proper prescription or people find them uncomfortable (I wouldn’t want something stuck to my eyeball, thank you!) I’m pretty sure any customer with half a brain wants staff who can see what they’re bloody doing! BBC.

I cannot see without my glasses so the thought of any workplace banning glasses is discrimination as glassed are not a fashion accessory they are a visual aid for people to be able to see.
