From day one seeing what was in I do whatever the voices in my wifes head tell me to do shirt front of me on my TV the horrific scenes of those planes hitting the tower’s followed by the Pentagon & the downed plane in Pennsylvania that those heroic passengers would not allow the hijackers to win ,tore right through my heart the instant grief I felt for all those innocent lives lost I’m not American I’ve never stepped foot in America I’m Welsh and watched the horror unfold in my home and to this day I still feel that grief when I think of 9/11 my thoughts and prayers are with all those who lost their lives and their families
Why does anyone think the Americans needed to let this happen to have a reason to invade another country??? I’m so bored of hearing this sh#t!! It did happen, they didn’t let it happen because at the time this had never been done before, no one would have ever expected hijackers to do this, they’d always wanted to negotiate before. Some of what America did afterwards was terrible but this wasn’t a conspiracy!!
Sometimes I feel sad for Americans – as a fellow human being. Some parts of the world do seem to hold such unbelievably deep grudge against them. Even when it’s about this size of a tragedy some people not only don’t show sympathy but also openly condemn the U.S. How sad.
Not saying that the U.S. is some kind of a saint with all pure good intentions, but saying they purposely did this to themselves is not logical. It’s a bias driven hatred.
He was in a classroom full of children. He’s hardly likely to stand up and scream in front of them. I’m not saying I’m a fan of anyone but a leader has to remain in control and vent of when the time is right surely. He may have made a lot of mistakes but I’ve always admired how Bush behaved in front of those children when he was given what must have been the most devastating news of his presidency. Not one sign on his face to show the enormous shock he must have felt. He stayed for a little while, congratulated the kids on their reading ability, said goodbye and quietly walked off…..into a day of hell.
To the 277 laughing emoji posters…you are sorry excuses for human beings. Death in ANY form or by ANY means is no laughing matter. Remember all the deaths caused in the resulting conflicts that were triggered by this attack. What a waste of life. BBC
