We can’t hide and isolate forever and we must get back to living life to its fullest. Now here is a thought ,you dont have to meet up with all your family, you dont have to have people around to your house. Just spend a little time not thinking about yourself and think of others and the effect if you or others at your house infect others.You could put if off untill you or the vulnerable ones have been vaccinated and take responsibility for your own actions and the health of your loved ones rather than blame the government or other. It spiked after schools opened, after the pubs opened, and after the non essential shops opened but the country has managed. You want it to stop you will have to close everything. Stopping Christmas visits will not suddenly solve the problem but it will open a new problem of loneliness related suicides and other loneliness associated medical emergencies. Some people are living for those 4 days after isolating for nearly 10 months. For the next 10 days wear masks, keep distance, wash hands and use your common sense.
