It’s all so sad to Good My Silence Doesn’t Mean I Agree With You It Means T-shirt watch this …my heart goes out to the Queen, to Prince Charles, and all the Royal family on such an incredibly difficult and emotional day. RIP Prince Philip….Please have empathy- regardless of your views on the monarchy this is a 95 year old grieving woman who has lost her beloved husband of 73 years. If you don’t like the Royal Family then maybe avoid reading through and commenting on these types of posts. Everyone deserves time and peace to grieve for a loved one. Not a Royalist but you have to be a very hard and unsympathetic person if you did not feel sadness for the queen today. Not even someone who has spent her life hiding her feelings coud hide the sorrow in her heart may she seek comfort from her memories and strength in her faith in the days ahead. The queen what a strong woman. She’s had to say goodbye to her husband of 73 years, that’s such an achievement. I’m no royalist but my heart today. I cannot begin to imagine what she’s feeling. People be kind, if you can’t just don’t say anything. The service I am sure did Prince Philip proud, RIP. He lived a very long privileged life and did much good while he graced this planet. RIP Duke and prayers of comfort to the queen. The restrictions under which the proceedings were held actually added a dimension of austere solemnity. The two most poignant moments for me were seeing the seat of the Duke’s carriage bearing only his riding cap, crop, gloves and stole, and the Queen, for once and in a final tribute, following the Duke in her car instead of being two steps ahead of him. When it comes to pomp and circumstance, and creating the enduring mystique and myth of monarchy, none can match the British. God bless our Queen, to have such composure and decorum as a monarch on this most difficult day, always in the public eye. From a proud servant of the Queen, I have nothing but admiration for her. Proud to be British on such a sombre day. Rest in peace HRH Prince Philip and God save our Queen. Our prayers are with the Queen and her family, and the people of Britain and the Commonwealth, who this fine man served faithfully and well, often thanklessly. A true example of public service and setting aside his own ego and desires to fulfill a far more important role – for Queen and country. God Save our gracious Queen. BBC.

The Dean of Windsor Rev. David Conner was spot on with his tone and compassion. He did the Queen and Prince Philip proud!! The whole service and coverage was brilliant…So moving. In the nicest possible way I really enjoyed watching it, thought all the military did an great job, the way they move and are all in time amazes me. I felt so sorry for the queen, she looked so frail when she got out of the car that I just wanted someone to help her. What a moving service to see the queen sad there alone after 75 years of having her husband next to her! She looked so Lost! Recently there hadn’t been much to feel proud of in Britain! today it was a reminder of just how amazing our country is! RIP! Doing what we do best. This country is renowned for its pageantry and gave the Duke of Edinburgh a fitting funeral. I felt so sorry for the Queen, she looked totally diminished. I’m sure her family will give her the comfort and support she needs. I can visualize this setting, because I was able to go through the castle. We could see the chapel. The castle grounds are high up on a hill above the chapel. I think the Duke of Edinburgh must have been a wonderful person and maybe the type of person some of us would have liked to have as our grandfather. Both of my grandfathers died before my parents were married, so I never knew what it was like to have a grandfather. I’m thankful for our friend who planned our trip to England and Germany and had been to both places many times.
