Apple Daily’s business in Taiwan just packed itself in not long ago. Definitely no government interference, simply bad management. I didn’t see that being reported on the BBC? Likewise, Taiwan’s CTI news channel was ordered to close by the government, also not so long ago. Where was the BBC report on that. The end of Democracy and freedom of thought, if only the West realised how precious that is, not perfect but precious none the less! Why Hong Kong people can speak Cantonese only? and not English? The Hong Kong official language are Cantonese and English. Also, why do Hong Kong people answer in their own language when accepting foreign media interviews.
