N he has completed his sentence n he’s termed as suicidal risk but still languishing in Belmarsh. They are probably slowly poisoning him again and this is a side effect. I wonder why he decided to return to Russia. He walked straight into the lion’s den. Russia can be ruthless. I wish he had sought asylum in another country so he could continue his work. Mr. Navalny returned back to Russia on his own volition. He knew the consequences of going back and he still went as a strong man. It was a grave mistake going back to Russia. Navalny had to go back. To do his job as an opposition leader of Putin. He was put in prison by Putin for no particular reason. So he is ineffective. He will become a martyr if he’s not treated right or dies. The NHS has been run down and understaffed for years now. The 2016 pandemic exercise showed that the UK was woefully under prepared for this kind of event and the government have been incompetent in their handling of it. The Government has Blood on its hands. They have been painfully inadequate from the start of the pandemic, and continue with the debacle today. They are incapable at the highest level. Everywhere is shut down, except schools and football, why? The virus is rampant. I have just listened to a replay of Professor Montgomery’s interview on the radio, it was a hard listen but hearing him was powerful, far more so than any government message. We do need to listen to him, try harder, get back to basics and welcome in the New Year in our own households tonight, with no visitors. It will be hard, but we need to do it. A harsh thing to say, but I would take it a little further and say that those who continuously broke the rules with mass gatherings, parties and mixing are the ones with blood on their hands, same with any business, public servant or politician who also flouted the rules. And on top of that, the rules should’ve been enforced harsher to make the flouters follow them. The biggest obstacle in combating covid19 is the ignorance of certain people. I believe they are not the majority, but the percentage is high enough to spoil the efforts of those who care.
