She pulled the 20k non-stop, no limits, no borders, with the joy of visiting new places. That poor man. I can’t imagine the grief and distress that compelled him to scour hundreds of miles of harsh terrain in search of his lost love… and then to find her body. It’s just too sad. They looked so happy together. And I guess it is sometimes true that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. That’s a tragic ending, but I’m happy there’s maybe some closure. Am so glad that she’s been found so that there may be some closure for her loved ones. Absolutely tragic that this has happened, but her fella has done what anyone of us would hope that someone would do for us: he kept searching and found her. Absolutely distressing and heartbreaking for him, and for her loved ones. I hope they all find solace in knowing she lived well and died doing what she loved. May she rest in peace. BBC.

Love under a storm, glad her remains have been found, it will give her family & boyfriend closure though painful..may her soul now rest in peace..condolences to him & her family. I remember when she first disappeared. Omgosh that poor man. I can’t even imagine what he must have felt when he found her. Wish she would have been alive. May her soul rest in peace. So dreadful. but at least, he had found her. He could grieve openly and touch her. He could feel a proper goodbye. Our sight of each, in whatever way, is a comfort of sorts. He, at least, knew what had happened. How sad it is when you are on a life long journey with someone very close to you and suddenly it ends like this… knowing that you need to continue your life with such a sad memory… wishing that the family & partner of the deceased will eventually find peace
